Interstruct handled all aspects of construction from civil and site work through the finished corporate interiors. Seats of Solitude by Peterson Guerrier is on view now at the ArtCube—only for a few more weeks. If you haven’t seen it yet, now is the time. This isn’t just art—it’s a perspective shift. Using salvaged bus seats, handles, and windows, Peterson recreated the interior of a public bus inside the Cube. A 30-minute video projection captures real-life moments of riders boarding, exiting, and interacting—offering an immersive glimpse into the world of public transit. “Seats of Solitude was never just about art—it was about perspective, about empathy, about stepping into a space many pass by without a second thought... Public transit was a necessity, not a choice. It was how I got to school, to work, to wherever my dreams were leading me.” Public transit isn’t just a route—it’s a lifeline, a shared space filled with stories, struggles, and resilience. This piece invites the community to reconsider assumptions about who rides the bus and why. The ArtCube is an urban experiment—funded by Interstruct, not for profit, but for impact. We designed and built both the shell and the interior of this 3,000 SF space, completing both phases simultaneously. By overlapping construction phases, we delivered the finished space faster, allowing our client to open sooner. Owned by psychiatric nurse practitioner Kris Oldham, Totally Psyched @totallythespa combines mental wellness and physical rejuvenation, offering telepsychiatry services and a specialized spa with weight loss programs, salt therapy, and infrared saunas. As Totally Psyched expands into the remaining 2,000 SF of the building, the distinction between its psychiatric clinic and wellness spa will become even more defined. The Architecture Team, whom we refer to as the A-Team, is integral to providing a significant contribution to refining our new method of practice. This provides a better outcome for our clients. It has also led us to create our own Architect as Developer model, wherein we develop our own projects. We are passionate about meaningful architecture, urban design, and incremental infill development.
