Have you checked out The Intersectional Environmentalist Database yet? This search tool allows you to effectively search for grassroots and climate justice organizations by location, topic area, and identity group, making it easy for people to learn about and directly support these impactful organizations. We want to give a special shoutout to our summer fellow, Wen Li Yau, for uploading 500+ of these organizations to the website! Wen Li’s support has helped us eliminate the gap that exists between grassroots voices and environmental solutions, as well as the lack of visibility of climate justice efforts. Check out the database for yourself through the link below, and nominate your favorite organizations through the nomination form on our website! https://lnkd.in/eguZ6Cps

NEW TOOLKIT: Catch us on the Record is now available through the link below ????#EarthjusticePartner What exactly does being ‘on the record’ mean? Legally, sharing our thoughts for progressive policy via public comment are being noted - and can be used to introduce new legislation, support legal proceedings, and sway our elected officials to advocate for the policies we want to see. While large protests, teach-ins, phone banking and donations are critical in showing momentum and awareness around a topic, these actions can’t be used in litigation to push progressive policies forward. That’s why to be legally effective, we need to be advocates on the record. Check out our newest toolkit, featuring easy-to-use call templates, grassroots leaders, and action items, to learn more. And thank you to our friends at?Earthjustice?for helping us bring this much-needed content to life ?? https://lnkd.in/eyEdJgzM
