Introducing Aly, our new Studio Admin! ???? A West Michigan native and WMU Bronco alum, Aly brings her boundless energy, creativity, and sharp eye for detail to our team. Fun fact: For the past few years, Aly has been growing her own Organic Gardening Business, and now she’s ready to dig into new opportunities with us! We can’t wait to see what Aly will cultivate here at Intersect!

We recently had the opportunity to design a space for Milestone Senior Services , a Southwest Michigan based non-profit who provides choice-driven services for seniors and persons with disabilities. To ensure our presentation was accessible to everyone, we incorporated tactile elements onto a printed floor plan. The textured outline of hot glue represented walls and windows, while pen indentations marked the placement of furniture, allowing a visually impaired attendee to feel the layout with their hands. At Intersect, designing places for people is at the heart of what we do, and this experience was a wonderful reminder of why we love what we do. ??

We're beyond excited to introduce Madeline as Intersect’s newest Sr. Architect / Project Manager! Her philosophy? "Communication is key—whether it’s with the team, consultants, clients, or contractors. Asking the right questions and solving problems is how great projects are built." We're thrilled to have Madeline on board, and we can’t wait to see all the incredible things she’ll achieve!

Last Friday, Intersect celebrated the grand reopening of the historic courthouse in Cassopolis, MI. This iconic building had stood vacant for nearly two decades and now serves as a vibrant, modern workplace for the Cass County, Michigan Government administration. This restoration honors the community's past while creating bright, inspiring spaces for county staff to thrive and feel good doing their best work! It's been an honor restoring this landmark of community pride, a space where generations to come will gather, celebrate, and work together. This month, we celebrated a 2-year milestone for two of our fantastic team members. Michael, our Director of Architecture and Design, brings visionary leadership and his innate strength for strategy to every project. Lexi, our Senior Graphic and Experiential Designer, has an incredible eye for detail and a talent for creating meaningful, immersive experiences. We're beyond grateful for their contributions and excited to see what the next years bring!

Last Friday, we hosted our ArtPrize open house at our Grand Rapids Studio. It was an incredible evening filled with inspiring art, great conversations, and new connections.
