The Importance of a Strong Internship Conversion Strategy - and the Challenges Limiting Conversion In today's competitive job market, college graduates report increasingly seeking positions that align with their personal values and career goals. We also see a push for quicker and earlier hiring timelines. What does this mean for employers? What made you want to do the work you do? For me, my WHY has always been connected to improving career outcomes for those at the earliest stages of their careers. Mixed into my work with Internship on Demand is a lot of work with students. It's also filled with all the other work required as a founder - HR, accounting, email, marketing - that can sometimes make focusing on our WHY a challenge. Then I get messages from the students in our programs who've found internships, changed majors to something that better aligns with their goals, or graduated into a great job.
