Yesterday we sat down for an intimate conversation about the arts in Delaware with OperaDelaware's Kerriann Ota?o, Delaware Shakespeare's Robert Tambari, and Delaware Theater Company's Natajia Sconiers. We had a great time sharing how each of us is involved in some aspect of the arts and learning just how significant a role they can play in our lives. #InternDelaware

This past Friday the Intern Delaware cohort volunteered at NERDiT NOW, Delaware's first certified technology recycler! We had a great time sorting through returned bins, learning how to properly recycle technology, and touring the Wilmington facilities. We had an impactful morning at the Hockessin Colored School #107C, where we heard from Dr. David Wilk, MAI, CRE and Mr. James "Sonny" Knot about the monumental strides in desegregation that were achieved right here in Delaware. Afterwards, Shanais "Shana" Hilliard led the interns through an engaging #DEI workshop that highlighted the significance of allyship and advocacy, intersectional identities, and more. Today we're celebrating National Intern Day by spotlighting our very own Intern Delaware intern Jackson McGee! A rising business analytics senior at the University of Delaware, Jackson is working on multiple data projects for us this summer, managing our Intern Delaware app and its participants, and so much more! Jackson shares, "Through my internship with the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, I've had the opportunity to grow my professional network and deepen my appreciation for the impact of data-driven insights in shaping business decisions.
