Volunteers worked tirelessly to clean the area where a medical transport plane tragically crashed on January 31st. Raising Cane’s played a key role by providing meals for 200 volunteers, along with offering restroom facilities and a VIP area for much-needed rest. We’re beyond excited to announce a $35,000 grant from the HDR Foundation to create two pollinator gardens at Emma and Nicholas DePietro Park in East Hartford, CT! ???? These gardens, starting in Spring 2025, will provide essential habitats for bees, butterflies, and birds—helping combat the decline of pollinator populations and promoting biodiversity. ???? This initiative is part of our Mom’s Garden Project, which works to create green spaces that benefit both the planet and the community. The gardens will also serve as outdoor classrooms for local schools, offering educational workshops and signage. ???? We’re excited to work with volunteers to bring this beautiful project to life—stay tuned for opportunities to get involved and plant trees and flowers! ??WeLoveU's Green Impact in Connecticut: ?? In November 2023, we planted trees in New Haven’s Fair Haven neighborhood, part of our goal to plant 1 million trees by 2026 as part of the Mom’s Garden Project. These trees help absorb carbon dioxide and work towards carbon neutrality by 2050. ???? ?? Heartwarming Winter Coat Donation at the YMCA in Dorchester, MA! ?? On December 17, 2023, the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation, alongside Massachusetts State Representative Brandy Fluker Oakley, hosted a special winter coat donation event for the community! ???? A total of 153 guests attended, with 68 new winter coats, 41 scarves, 6 hats, and 6 pairs of gloves distributed to children between 5-10 years old. ?? The event included fun activities like face painting, a photo booth, and snacks, creating a memorable experience for all.
