International Student Council is excited to announce that this Sunday we will be hosting "WE ARE The World " an event made to celebrate International Students on campus. As an organization dedicated to bettering the lives of international students, we are committed to celebrating their achievements and encouraging their success. International students at Penn State facilitate cross-cultural understanding and exchange on campus. On campus they are particularly prominent in STEM fields, contributing to research and innovation in these areas. "WE ARE The World " will feature multicultural performances, speakers and a variety of cultural food to share with the community. The preparation for this event has been a group effort within members of our organization and contributions from the University Park Undergraduate Association, the Association of Residence Hall Students, Penn State Global, CGS at Penn State In anticipation to this event we would like to recognize the efforts of our president Parth Gosar and executive board member: Maria Lopez Vera Livia, Soumyadeep Das, Edwin Clatus, Surya Pratap Singh Suryavanshi, Samuel Akangbe, Roman Bahadursingh, Alan B., Sreekaar Konchada, Valentina Gamarra Moreira, Tanya Garg, and the dedication and time they have put into the planning of WE ARE the World. #pennstate #internationalstudents #leadership #weare

The International Student Council, also recognized as ISC, is a representative organization of international student communities at Penn State, University Park, as well as other 19 commonwealth campuses. As a voice of international students, ISC addresses concerns and issues of all international students to the university. We also works to promote cultural understanding by organizing various events throughout the school year.
