Here’s the latest article from International Space Elevator Consortium Chief Architect Peter Swan, Ph.D? .? He returns to the theme of ‘Dual Space Architecture’, highlighting the need for Teamwork as described by the words “There should be cooperation and coordination between advanced rocket projects and Space Elevators once they start operations” in the 2023 Study Report (editor : Jerry Eddy). The article summarises the need for rockets and #SpaceElevators to work together to advance humanity’s future in space. Routine, simple, low cost access to space
关于我们
ISEC focuses on the global communication of the concept of space elevators. We believe that the Earth Space Elevator is ready for Engineering Development, facilitated by the rapid ongoing development of the candidate material (single crystal graphene) for the construction of a 100,000 km tether. The mission statement : "ISEC promotes the development, construction and operation of a space elevator as a revolutionary and efficient way to space for all humanity" Our vision: "Space Elevators are the Green Road to Space while they enable humanity's most important missions by moving massive tonnage to GEO and beyond. They accomplish this safely, routinely, inexpensively, and daily; they are environmentally neutral" ISEC's plan of action is based upon yearly themes and studies, with an annual Conference. The latest study addresses the Tether/Climber Interface, published earlier in 2023 : see the website for details of all other studies. Note : we have no connection with companies calling themselves 'Space Elevator' or 'Space Elevator Foundation' on LinkedIn.

International Space Elevator Consortium转发了
???? Excited to share some amazing news!? Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the 2023-2024 International Space Elevator Consortium Challenge, in collaboration with the National Space Society. The challenge focused on exploring AI-enhanced operations for Space Elevators and how they can transform humanity’s access to space.? I am proud to announce that in July 2024, I was a tied runner-up with my research paper, “AI Enhanced Operations and Maintenance.” ??? In my work, I explored how AI technologies can: - Enable intelligent operations through embedded sensors and algorithms. - Monitor payload movements, environmental conditions, and structural integrity in real time. - Extend system lifespan through predictive analysis and autonomous maintenance using robotics. - Support interplanetary exploration with greener, more economical alternatives to traditional rockets.? This challenge not only enhanced my research, analytical, and communication skills but also reinforced my passion for advancing sustainable engineering and space technologies.? As part of the competition, I submitted an 11-page paper and a 10-minute video presentation, which you can watch here: https://lnkd.in/eAtbxsCz? A big thank you to ISEC and NSS for hosting this inspiring event and encouraging us to dream big about the future of space exploration.? You can view the full list of winners here: https://lnkd.in/e3H2jCw8? Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible! ?? #SpaceElevator #ArtificialIntelligence #SustainableEngineering #SpaceExploration
