Today I received my forth Legal Action threat for having shared, under disclosure, numerous exposed Internet Assets within a UK Critical Infrastructure organisation. What made this all the more interesting is just days prior to the below dated BOGUS servers within their Top Level Domain DNS, this organisation closed the entire UK wide area and called it - you guessed it , ''A Technical Glitch.'' Then, remarkably, for the first time since inception 60 years ago, the day after the below was taken, secured their critical servers - I'm sure its just a coincidence and no Ransomware attack or payment took place... I accepted the threat of legal action and then shared unredacted Threat Intelligence. I have given their General Counsel 48 hours to respond. Failing that, I will happily publicly disclose the information and to hell with their cover-up... Threaten me and you need to know, not only can we back up with evidence, but you really picked the wrong person to try and bully. The NSA Killed Internet Security in 1978 and Fathered Cyber Crime. The below link, authored by Stu Sjouwerman, provides a historical overview of the Internet and Security. He explains why the current version of the Internet is Not Secure and why it was not built securely from day one because the NSA objected to encryption of the data transfer protocol in 1978. Today, there is a demonstrable capability, knowledge, and technical gap of how the Internet and Security can work, or when Not Secure, can be abused. This widespread shortfall, possibly over two generations, is a direct result of Intelligence Agencies reluctance, resistance, and insistence not to include in depth training of Internet Assets and Domain Name Systems (DNS) as part of Academic curriculum. That enforcement enabled Intelligence Agencies unbridled Access for Surveillance. However, as soon as their modus operandi was let out the bag, it enabled identical Access for cyber criminals - whoever they really are... Today's CISO's and security professionals have been indoctrinated to overlook these critical areas. They simply were not taught them in any depth. This indoctrination forces them to be like a doctor using Band Aid plasters whilst limbs have been amputated. They are unable to stop the 'flow' not of blood, but data. The Root Cause for cyber crime is Access, remove the Access and to a large extent, you remove the ability for crime to flourish. As Dr Paul Mockapetris the Father of DNS states - ''Over 95% of Cyberattacks, Malware, and Bots rely upon DNS.'' It doesn't then take an Einstein to draw a simple, but profound conclusion - if DNS is secure, what percentage of ''Cyberattacks, Malware, and Bots'' could be halted? The U.S. is by far the world's most litigious country. The Intelligence Agencies and Government would probably be found guilty of the above actions, even potentially held liable - Flying Pigs I hear you cry and I know you don't mean the GCHQ planted digital certificate variety. However, what might prove to be the world's greatest cover-up, despite the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Emergency Directives on DNS Tampering in Jan 2019, White House and European Commission papers on DNS Abuse in Jan 2022, why might DNS, the world's single greatest exploitable access points, DNS servers, providing access to the world's networks and critical infrastructure, be systemically insecure providing access for Surveillance, Data Exfiltration and crime? Then ask another, really pertinent, consequential one. Why, post known and attributed DNS server compromise, despite this knowledge, why do the DNS servers remain Insecure?
