Access to clean water is essential for quality healthcare. At Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Sana’a, inconsistent water supply was hindering patient care and sanitation. Thanks to a program funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Medical Corps successfully drilled an artesian well, ensuring a sustainable and reliable water source for the hospital and surrounding community. This project has significantly improved hospital operations, elevating hygiene, patient care and sanitation standards while reducing dependency on external water sources. By implementing sustainable solutions in water-scarce environments, we are not only addressing immediate challenges but also fostering long-term resilience in healthcare systems.
