Meet Rafa Zabidiansyah, Our Most Inspiring Student at the Jakarta Center! This month, the Jakarta Center and the International Humanity Foundation (IHF) are proud to recognize Rafa for his dedication and passion for learning. Rafa is a 6th-grade student at SDN 14 and has been part of IHF since 4th grade. He first learned about IHF from a friend and joined to improve his English and Math while making new friends. Since then, he has been an active and focused student, always eager to learn. Through his time at IHF, Rafa has seen great improvement in his school grades and a better understanding of his lessons. He enjoys the learning process here and hopes IHF will continue to grow and help more children in different locations. “IHF is a great place to learn. Meet Mary Waithera, a dedicated Grade 7 student from Nakuru, Kenya. She visits the IHF Nakuru Center every day, drawn by the fresh air, the peaceful environment, and her passion for learning. Mary’s favorite subjects are CRE and English, and she enjoys dancing and singing in her free time. With a heart for helping others, she dreams of becoming a nurse so she can care for the sick. Her favorite colors are pink and purple, and she loves cultural dishes like meat and pilau. When asked what she would say to IHF and our founder, Carol Sasaki, Mary shared, “Thank you for putting the center in Nakuru to help me.” We are inspired by Mary’s dedication and dreams.
