  • ?? Alumni Spotlight: Honoring Maggie Gee on Veterans Day ?? Today, as we honor #VeteransDay, we shine a light on the extraordinary life of Maggie Gee, an inspiring alumna of International House. Maggie was not only a trailblazer in aviation as one of just two Chinese American women in the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) during World War II, but she also made remarkable contributions to the fields of physics and research. After her service, she earned both her BS and MS in Physics from @UC Berkeley, where she went on to conduct groundbreaking research at the @Livermore_Lab, focusing on nuclear fusion and Cold-War era weapon systems. Maggie's journey from a pioneering aviator to a respected physicist exemplifies resilience and determination in male-dominated fields. Her legacy continues to inspire future generations to break barriers and pursue their passions fearlessly. On this Veterans Day, let’s honor Maggie and all veterans who have served our country with valor and dedication. Thank you, Maggie, for your incredible contributions and for paving the way for others! #VeteransDay #WomenInSTEM
