ESTABLISH YOUR VILLAGE OR TOWN A CITY OF PEACE! International Cities of Peace? is a nonprofit, tax-exempt association dedicated to connecting, promoting, and encouraging the global cities of peace movement. An Advisory Council of leaders from global Cities of Peace organizations is working to create an all-inclusive, non-polarizing network of world citizens working to bring peace to their communities. Peace, in the view of this organization, is not just a hope. It's a right. VISION: To foster peace as a consensus value in Cities of Peace around the world. MISSION: To network, encourage, document, and provide resources and information for leaders and organizations working to make peace a consensus value through the global Cities of Peace movement. GOALS: ? Network individuals, villages, and cities of peace, internationally. ? Provide an independent, unaligned resource for Cities of Peace. ? Act as a non-polarizing source of information on worldwide peace issues. ? Encourage, honor, and connect peace adherents and organizations. ? Document the history, scholarship, and formation of cities of peace. ? Expand the concept of the American Dream to the World Dream of peace.

    This Erasmus+ partnership project focuses on remembering and learning from the Holocaust, genocides, war crimes, and crimes against humanity through the STEAM methodology. Integrating international relations, social cohesion, and environmental well-being equips students with knowledge and skills to foster harmony, understanding, and sustainability, safeguarding the EU's democratic social sustainable development. The project's objectives include teaching historical awareness with "Never Forget" and promoting reconciliation and healing with "Must Forgive." Educational programs and visits to historical sites across Scandinavian countries, the Balkans, and Greece will connect students with significant places of memory, fostering a commitment to democratic values and human rights. The project utilizes innovative storytelling methods like digital storytelling, VR/AR, and gamified learning to resonate lessons from the past with new generations, fostering empathy and understanding. By educating young people to preserve the memory of atrocities and prevent history's repetition, the R.E.M.E.M.B.E.R. Project aims to produce an informed, empathetic generation actively preserving democratic values and human rights.     The Media Education Centre initiative is showcasing Virtual Museums for Peace globally. These vital museums share inspiring stories of peace, antiwar histories, and social justice. Discover their unique narratives and the challenges they face. Today - Museum Henry Dunant, Switzerland, www.dunant-museum.ch The Peace Bell in front of the Henry Dunant Museum is one of the few copies of the church bell that survived the atomic bombing of Nagasaki on August 9, 1945, almost unscathed. The ringing of the Peace Bell commemorates the nuclear catastrophe and sets a sign for peace. We envision a world where every interaction, decision, and initiative is steeped in respect for our collective life, embracing new media and digital pedagogies, ecological balance, universal human rights, cultural and artistic diversity, economic fairness, and the pursuit of peace. #PeaceMuseums #SocialJustice #INMP #Disarmament #VirtualMuseum
