Did you know? Today, the industry recycles 41 million tonnes of aluminium scrap. By 2050, this is projected to reach 90 to 100+ million tonnes. Recycling aluminium is one of the pathways for decarbonising the aluminium sector. Producing aluminium from #scrap reduces energy use by 95% compared to primary production and the recycling process shows similar reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
