IATI is a global initiative to improve the transparency of development and humanitarian resources and their results.
关于我们
IATI is a global initiative working to improve the transparency of development and humanitarian resources and their results to address poverty and crises. IATI encourages governments and organisations to publish information about their spending and projects according to IATI's open data standard. The IATI Standard is a set of rules and guidance for publishing useful development and humanitarian data. Once published, this data is free and open for anyone to access online. Thousands of organisations have published IATI data on the spending of their development or humanitarian activities. They include donor governments, multilateral agencies, development finance institutions, foundations, NGOs and private sector organisations. IATI is funded and governed by its members and a member-elected Governing Board, and it is supported by a global community of development and humanitarian practitioners, advocates for transparency, data experts and technical specialists. IATI’s Secretariat is hosted by the UN Development Programme (UNDP), which is responsible for policy and technology services, with Open Data Services as the Secretariat's technology delivery partner and the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS) as the provider of operational and financial services.

?? IATI is is proud to be working with the Latin American Council of Social Science (CLASCO), the UNESCO Chair of the CWTS | Leiden University and the consultancy SIRIS Academic on a new initiative to map global research funding flows, supported by Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC). Scientific research shapes how we understand and respond to global challenges. When funding flows are largely invisible, it can be difficult to ensure that resources are reaching the people and institutions best placed to lead that work – particularly in the Global South. IATI has joined the project’s Advisory Council, contributing our expertise in making complex funding data accessible and usable, helping to ensure that research funding information can be used to guide more coordinated and inclusive action. ???? Transparency advocates are gathering in Brussels today to discuss the future of aid and development finance data on #TransparencyDay. Over 40 advocates from Europe and beyond are attending IATI's Transparency Seminar on increasing the effectiveness of development cooperation. In today's opening remarks: Fiona Ramsey, Head of Unit for Effective Development Policy and Team Europe (INTPA.D.1), European Commission, reminded attendees that transparency is key in an ever more complex development cooperation landscape, highlighting that “As we are pushed to do more with less, it’s crucial we use the data we have to be more effective & efficient”. Thea Schepers, Chair of the IATI Governing Board, stated that as development cooperation faces tectonic changes, "transparency is the backbone of co-ordinated responses that can stretch each Euro to its full potential". Yemesrach Workie, IATI's Executive Director, welcomed attendees to todays seminar, emphasising the vital role European colleagues have played in advancing IATI's mission?– and the need for continued partnership to strengthen global partnerships, combat disinformation, and build an effective and efficient future of development cooperation.
