I had such a wonderful time at the Athena Awards hosted by Pittsburgh Technology Council & Fortyx80. This is one of my favorite events because it’s so inspirational to hear what the nominees are doing in their every day lives to make a difference. Thank you to everybody who wished me a happy work anniversary on Friday! 3 years ago I made the tough decision to leave a company where I made many friends and built relationships I hope to carry for many more years to come. However, I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason and after multiple unsuccessful interview processes I was fortunate to find an amazing company I get to call home! A company where the owners surprise you with a wedding gift and a place where so many people want to celebrate all of life’s greatest achievements! I can’t imagine being anywhere other than where I am now. I want to give a special shout out to Kristin Zeigler for introducing me to IntePros and all the great people I’ve met in my short time here! To Adam Jones as well for being a great mentor and everybody else here who I get to call my friends! Here’s to 3 more years and many more after that!!

My daughter had the best time visiting the IntePros Corporate Headquarters yesterday. She spent time with nearly everyone. Practiced her putting for mini golf, & a little foosball with our President Geoff Jones. She also helped Bryan recruiting bears. She enjoyed a nice lunch with a few teammates. There was even an ice cream truck! I kept saying she’s going to think work is like this everyday, however we all know it’s not. She was the highlight of the office, but also a great reminder of how a child sees the world. Her excitement, enthusiasm & curiosity reminded me how we should approach each day. We had a great time at The POWER of Professional Women Summer happy hour! It was a nice night of catching up with familiar faces and meeting a whole bunch of new Power members and attendees!

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a great event hosted by The WICT Network: New York at Charter Communications in Stamford, CT. The weather was on our side, setting the perfect backdrop for an inspiring evening. Michelle Powell shared a touching story about how her leadership and mentorship empowered her team to thrive as she needed to focus on supporting her son through a medical diagnosis. Meeting so many wonderful women at the event was a highlight, and I am already looking forward to the next gathering. #WomenInLeadership #Inspiration #Empowerment

Had a great time at the LSPA Day at the Park event! ? It was great to catch up with Tiffany Prince (she/her) and make new connections like Karl Prince, Constantino R. and Ross Beresford. It's always great going to events with great weather, a beautiful view and a fun game ending with a great WIN for the pirates. Looking forward to continuing these conversations and collaborations in the future!
