B Corp month is winding down, but our commitment to the B Corp community and values stands strong every month of the year. Hear from Andy Park-Buffelen, our Head of People & Culture, on what working for a B Corp means to them: "To put it simply, being part of a B Corporation makes me proud! As I learn more about other organizations involved, the products they make, and the way they take care of their people, it’s truly a spark in a world where one can quite easily be driven to cynicism. My main objective is to ensure our organization takes care of our people the best we can, and the B Corp community provides the use cases and inspiration to do just that." #genB #BCorpMonth #impact

It’s been a whirlwind start to 2025 for the international aid community given sweeping changes to US global development funding, resources, and staffing. The impact of this shift has already been felt worldwide, and one thing is clear: gaps will only be closed if all sectors - from philanthropy to private sector to individuals - take action now. Don't miss our free panel discussion that brings together global development policy, advocacy, and funding experts to discuss areas of considerations for funders as their role to preserve progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) becomes more important than ever before. We're moving forward together through our commitment to B Corp certification. This B Corp month, Alison Gazarek, Principal, Education, shared what working for a B Corp means to her: "Being a b-corp gives us a level of credibility that speaks for itself. When I tell partners or colleagues that we are a b-corp, their eyes light up in recognition: they immediately have an idea of who we are and what we stand for. It also gives us something to anchor on internally when making hard decisions.?What does that mean for us as a b-corp? Does it align with our values there?" #GenB #BCorpMonth

Educational data has long been the cornerstone of establishing accountability, identifying successes and opportunities, and showcasing a more accurate, collaborative, and holistic picture of the state of learning and student progress throughout the country. In the last few weeks, historic data across fields and departments of the federal government are systemically being altered or outright removed, without transparency into what is disappearing or why. Read our latest blog post by Tia H. and Alison Gazarek to learn more about disappearing educational data and what can be done to save it. https://lnkd.in/gdWwqmMj #education #datasets #educationdata #dissapearingdata

We're thrilled to welcome Amelia Vasudevan as an Associate Director on our Education team. Here's a little about Amelia in her own words: Amelia comes to iF with a background in EdTech product strategy and development. She has brought new “0 to 1” solutions to market that help upskill and reskill frontline employees at Fortune 1000 employers. Prior to this, Amelia led public policy and non profit programs across healthcare, education and civil justice. Amelia brings an equity-minded approach to her work and a curiosity for how we can continue to create and advance opportunity through education. Outside work, Amelia loves yoga, and is reattempting skiing and bike riding, having never quite learned as a kid! Welcome, Amelia! We're so glad you're here. #newemployee #spotlight

We’re proud to be a Certified B Corporation?: a company that demonstrates positive social and environmental impact. We’re part of a generation of people using business to make a better tomorrow a reality today. March is B Corp month, and we look forward to sharing the voices of iFsters who are proud to work for a B Corporation. Here's what Debi Blizard, Principal, Social Impact, values about working at a B Corp: "Being a B Corp means making sure our work uplifts our people, strengthens our communities, and respects our planet. We may not always get it right, but we’re always learning—because we believe the future relies on business being a force for good." #BCorpMonth #GenerationB #impact

Last week, Clara Atwell, Debi Blizard, Jessica Groopman, Mitch Ratcliffe, and Samantha Bazant conducted a regenerative design workshop with the 9Zero Climate Innovation Hub. Leaders, engineers, designers, and change-makers across the Seattle community joined them for an exploration of What and Why Regeneration, as well as a look into how leading businesses and technology companies are applying practices today. Attendees then had a chance to practice applying regenerative principles to their own industries and contexts. #regeneration #climateaction #regenerativedesign #regenerativeprinciples
