Thanks so much to The Downing Brothers for guest speaking at our recent Homeownership 101 series! The Downing Brothers are heavily involved in real estate and are well-known from the TV show Backyard Bar Wars. They offered insight into their process of becoming #homeowners and how to make #RealEstate work for you. They also discussed their book, The Downing Brothers: A Visual Strategy Guide for Real Estate, which participants received a signed copy of! Thanks to Edna Martin Christian Center for hosting! It was great to have them, and we're super excited to partner on a development project in 2025. STAY TUNED! ??

Partner Highlight: Hope Community Development Corporation Hope CDC is a distinguished nonprofit organization with a rich history, originating in 1906 as Mount Paran Baptist Church. In the year 2000, Mount Paran Baptist Church established an outreach initiative that evolved into what is now known as HOPE CDC under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dr. T.D. Robinson. Located in the Far Eastside community, Hope CDC's mission closely aligns with ours, which is why we deeply value our partnership with them. They are dedicated to making a significant impact through their various programs, including Senior Housing, Affordable Family Housing, Early Learning, Community Life and Engagement, and Employment/Workforce Development. Their commitment to these areas fosters positive change and enhances the quality of life for individuals and families in their community. We at Intend Indiana are proud to partner with HOPE CDC in our shared mission of transforming lives. https://lnkd.in/gTNVNSbN

Congrats on your new home, Lisa! ?? Lisa took the time to improve her credit and expand her knowledge of the home-buying process, and now she's the proud owner of a beautiful new home! She's most excited to share this space with her grandbabies, and we hope she can create lasting memories with her family in this home! The journey to #homeownership can take time—but it's worth the wait. If you need help navigating the process, we're here to support you! https://lnkd.in/gUh3MEPJ

Please join us in congratulating our recent #homebuyer, Gina! Gina lived with her older children in Terre Haute and Brownsburg and had to travel over 12 miles a day to get her younger child to school. Now that she's in her new home, the commute is only a few miles! We're so proud of Gina for sticking it out through this (sometimes challenging) journey and thankful we were able to help her invest in her future. She's super excited about becoming a #homeowner again and is grateful for the opportunity. #Homeownership is so much more than having a place to live—it also offers financial and emotional benefits that can last a lifetime. We're so happy for Gina! A special shout-out to our friends at Stock Yards Bank & Trust for referring her to us!
