A Forbes Insights survey says that 80% of workers become more productive when communicating in their native language–even if they’re fluent in English. Plus, the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration states that work accidents caused by language barriers are reduced by 25%. Also, 75% of buyers are more likely to buy again from brands that offer customer care in their native language, stressing the importance of multilingual support. The Intento Language Hub for ServiceNow translates interactions in real-time, letting your customers and employees connect in their native languages. Whether it is employees requesting IT support, HR teams sharing company updates, or customer service teams helping global clients—everyone uses their language while you maintain content in one primary language. Thank you, Britta Aagaard, Gaëtan Chrétiennot, Georg Kirchner, Johan Sporre, and Kirti Vashee, for our panel discussion today at the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) about AI in enterprise localization. We discussed misconceptions, opportunities, and the future of humans. One thing AI helps with is summarizing discussions between different players in this broad and diverse industry. Here's what GPT suggested for ours: 🔹 AI is not just a better translation tool. It’s a set of technologies that require the right setup, people, and processes to work. 🔹 Many AI deployments in the enterprise are not delivering ROI. Localization is one of the few areas where AI shows clear value—but only when applied with care. 🔹 Clients now care about language in a new way. That opens the door to conversations we couldn’t have before—across IT, marketing, and other teams. 🔹 The real work is not about chasing new buzzwords. It’s about understanding complexity and helping others navigate it. 🔹 Our role is changing—from translation providers to solution architects, guiding AI through data, process, and purpose. What did it miss? If you attended, what did you miss? #Localization #Translation #AI #EnterpriseAI #LLM #GlobalContent

A lot of companies rely on a data-driven approach to translation — train the AI on past translations and hope it gets better over time. But here’s the problem: 📉 Quality gains plateau. 🧩 Many requirements can’t be learned from data. 🚫 Changing requirements breaks everything. Sounds familiar? What requirements do you struggle to meet in your MT? Or perhaps even in human translations? At Intento, Inc., we are moving to a requirements-based approach instead. ✅ Define what matters — tone, terminology, compliance ✅ Check it automatically ✅ Instruct AI agents to fix what’s missing This lets you automate even your highest-stakes translations — and still meet every requirement. More alignment. Less post-editing. No guesswork. One of the cases related to transcreation and inclusivity will be shared at Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) conference in Montreal tomorrow by Vann Maxson. We’ll be sharing more use cases soon — stay tuned! #AI #Localization #Quality #MachineTranslation #LLM #AIAgents #TranslationAutomation #GALA

Attending #GALA2025? Join Vann Maxson from Intento to see how AI agents tackle the two biggest localization headaches—gender-neutral language and extensive transcreation! Vann will show how specialized AI agents now handle these challenges automatically, reducing manual editing while making content more culturally appropriate. See you at Vann’s presentation on April 14 from 3:40 to 4:10 pm!
