Integrated Health & Development Organization (IHDO)

Integrated Health and Development Organization (IHDO) is a Non-governmental National Organization (NNGO), non-profit making and impartial that was founded on 6th June 2016. The founding members are South Sudanese who have been inspired by the need to intervene in the deteriorating situation, particularly the misery of minorities and disadvantaged communities either in rural or urban areas in the country, and advocate for the right of women to equal participation in the decision-making process. IHDO has its main office in Kapoeta South County and a branch in Torit, Eastern Equatoria State. As an obedient organization that abides by the rule of law and as a legal entity registered under the relevant laws of South Sudan, IHDO has been extensively involved in community development projects. The mandate of the Organization is to ensure there is a reduction in mortality and morbidity-related cases, Gender-based violence, access to peace and reconciliation, Relief assistance, Maternal Health intervention, access to clean water and Formal Education.
