Kevin’s unmatched expertise, professionalism, and commitment to quality make him a true leader for our Plumbing & Piping projects.? ? How It All Started Kevin was introduced to the trades by Guy Tankersley at Cal Delta Plumbing and quickly made a name for himself by following a key piece of advice from his mentor: “Be 15 minutes early, learn as much as you can as fast as you can. Stay ahead of your Journeyman, don’t wait for him to ask you to do something. Stand out—be a name, not a number.” ? A Leader in the Field As a Plumbing & Pipefitting Supervisor, Kevin oversees all phases of our major plumbing projects, from estimating and design to coordination and execution. He specializes in large-scale plumbing systems, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and first-class craftsmanship. His approach to work is simple yet powerful: “I always treat every task as if I am the owner and always mindful of the budget to maintain profitability.” ? Why Intech? Over the past 26 years, Kevin has played a vital role in countless projects and values the trust and respect he’s earned along the way: “I have always felt trusted and respected to do the best for the company, and my decisions are acknowledged and valued for their contribution to our success.” ? Beyond the Job Site When he’s not leading projects, Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching his labs work while upland game and duck hunting, fishing, golfing, and raising cattle. We’re celebrating Engineering Week with our passionate team of engineers here at Intech Mechanical by spotlighting the Sierra College Student Housing Project! Huge kudos to Brian Featherston, PE, Jacob Hanson, Jose Servellon & Gary Risse for their exceptional work on the HVAC and plumbing design for this innovative, design-build project. This 3-story student housing project was designed and is being built in collaboration with DPR Construction, HKS, Inc. & KPFF Consulting Engineers.?This unique project will provide 358 beds of affordable student housing and is centrally located next to the Library/Learning Resource Center and the Campus Center/Café. The three-wing design converges at the "Hub" — a modern, glass-filled space that will be the heart of student activity. The new residence hall opens Spring 2026, offering students an affordable, enhanced living experience.
