Enlit Europe 2024 has come to a close, and what a fantastic event it was! Enlit, a global energy event, unites industry leaders, innovators, and experts to drive advancements and collaboration in sustainable energy and digital transformation. We at int:net were proud to be part of this inspiring event once again. The int:net?session showcased some of the latest and most impactful project results, including the EMINENT, the testing framework, the int:net community, and much more. The Energy Data Space session, led by Antonello Monti, focused on advancing digitalization in the energy sector, beginning with a warm welcome and an introduction by European Commission (EC) representatives Patricia Arsene and Stavros Stamatoukos. Monti then presented progress on cluster projects, setting the stage for Roundtable 1 with Energy Data Space projects such as ENERSHARE , Omega X, Project EDDIE, Synergies Energy Data Spaces, and DATA CELLAR EU. Participants discussed next steps and identified the need for policy support and infrastructure investment to fully scale their solutions. Monti also highlighted a semantic interoperability test, emphasizing the importance of seamless data exchange among projects. In Roundtable 2, extended cluster projects like TwinEU, ODEON project, Begonia Project, InterSTORE, and HEDGE-IoT shared their early achievements and challenges, particularly regarding data exchange barriers and the evolving role of prosumers in the digital energy landscape. It was wonderful to see so many new and familiar faces stopping by the int:net booth. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the event—we look forward to exciting collaborations ahead! We are happy to invite you to our fourth session of our Lunch Talk series. ?? October 29th, 2024 ??? Time: 1-2 pm ??? Location: Online During the next Lunch Talk, Maider Santos Mugica from TECNALIA Research & Innovation will be presenting results and insights emerging from our research efforts with relation to use cases and interoperability. These efforts have been based on a structured review of energy transition-related use cases from the perspective of interoperability. From over 500 identified use cases, ~50 have been analysed in depth according to interoperability indicators defined within the int:net project. The methodology and indicators will be briefly presented, together with the results of the analysis. But this is not all! The Lunch Talk will also address the status of use case repositories and will attempt at discussing their value to the energy sector and beyond. ? We are looking forward to knowing what your opinions are with relation to the main conclusions of our research, to discuss about measures to foster an improved use case description in research projects, and to discuss about the role of use cases to foster interoperability in the energy sector. Should we take it a step further? Interested? Register now and join our Lunch Talk! Once you're registered, you’ll use the same link for each upcoming session. The lunch talk series happens every 3rd week. For more details and to sign up, visit: https://lnkd.in/dtx6HtA3 P.S.: It’s perfectly fine to chat while you eat!
