    The latest findings from Insurity’s 2025 AI in Insurance Report reveal sharp regional divides in attitudes toward AI in P&C insurance. New England leads the way, with 62% comfortable using AI for severe weather monitoring. However, in the West North Central and Mountain regions, concerns over AI-driven risk assessment impacting premiums are especially high, with many fearing higher costs or biased pricing.     New data from Insurity’s 2025 AI in Insurance Report reveals a growing challenge for insurers: consumer trust in AI is declining. Support for #AI in P&C insurance has dropped significantly, with only 20% of Americans saying it’s a good idea for insurers to use AI, down from 29% in 2024. At the same time, skepticism is rising, as 44% of consumers are now less likely to purchase a policy from an insurer that publicly uses AI. This shift is a clear signal. AI adoption alone isn’t enough. Insurers must focus on transparency, education, and real-world benefits to rebuild consumer confidence. The industry now has a crucial opportunity to close the gap between AI’s potential and consumer expectations, ensuring that innovation leads to trust, not skepticism.
