We're proud of our Home Visiting 101, 102 and 103 series that gets to the core of home visiting and all three have been refreshed and updated - available in English and Spanish! HOME VISITING 102: Skills and Strategies for Successful Home Visits This 30-minute training explores the daily activities of Family Support Professionals (FSPs) and describes skills that can improve an FSP's effectiveness: taking a strengths-based approach, using strategies for parent support, and the importance of effective communication skills. This 60-minute training introduces the profession of home visiting and its importance for children and families. It provides insights into early brain development, childhood stress, ACEs, and protective factors and outlines how home visiting programs are part of a larger system of care for children and families. (This training module is a consolidated and updated version that replaces the original series on home visiting. The previous modules have been retired.)
