Yesterday, AHA's IFDHE 2024 Leadership Council visited Mamatoto Village in Southeast D.C. to contribute to a community-driven cause. Mamatoto Village is an organization committed to creating career pathways for Black women in perinatal health and maternal services to increase accessible support for mothers during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Council members toured the facility, spoke with leadership, helped organize the infant closet and assembled reproductive and lactation kits. #maternalhealth #healthequity
