Congratulations to Saiful Hoque, Ph.D. and the team. We are thrilled to celebrate Saiful Hoque, Ph.D., Vice-President of the Institute of Textile Science (ITS), on receiving a Collaboration Grant from TRANSFORM HF. This exciting project aims to develop smart garments that can monitor and regulate body temperature to improve cardiovascular health, particularly for older adults with chronic conditions. As Dr. Hoque shared, "This project highlights the intersection of digital health and health equity, aiming to create user-centered solutions in response to environmental challenges." We are incredibly proud of Dr. Hoque’s leadership and look forward to the positive impact his work will have on health equity and innovation!

We are thrilled to celebrate Dr. Mazeyar Parvinzadeh Gashti, Assistant Professor of Polymer Chemistry at Pittsburg State University, USA, and esteemed member of the Board of Directors for the Institute for Textile Science (ITS), on being recognized for the fifth consecutive year in the World’s Top 2% of Scientists list, produced by Stanford/Elsevier! This prestigious recognition reflects the outstanding scientific achievements of researchers from various fields, and Dr. Mazeyar’s immense contributions to the field of polymer chemistry are truly commendable. As Dr. Mazeyar himself shared, “This is an extremely prestigious honor, recognizing immense efforts and impacts of my past research.” We are incredibly proud to have Dr. Mazeyar as part of the ITS Board and look forward to his continued contributions to advancing science and innovation.
