?? NEW from IWPR: The Economic Ripple Effects of the Dobbs Decision Our latest report dives deep into the economic aftermath of the 2022 Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, which overturned Roe v. Wade and opened the door to sweeping abortion bans across the U.S. By 2023, nearly half of all prime working-age women—49.5 million—found themselves in states with severe abortion restrictions, including 17.6 million in states with outright bans. These policies have led to far-reaching economic repercussions that impact not just women, but employers and the economy as a whole. ??
