Congratulations to our President Eddie L. Koen, JD, MPA on his Presidential Volunteer Service Award for leadership and advocacy for adolescent parenting youth!
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too. The PVSA has continued under each administration, honoring the volunteers who are using their time and talents to solve some of the toughest challenges facing our nation. Thank you Rosemary's Babies Company for the incredible honor of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for leadership and advocacy for adolescent parenting youth. Congrats to the other recipients as well. I wish I could join you in Cincinnati for the event. Congrats to Rosemary D. Oglesby-Henry, MSOL and the amazing impact you’ve had on the community! ?????? #service

Wrapping up a week in Denver, Co at the National Reentry Workforce Collaborative (NRWC) Conference! NRWC Annual Conference brought together voices from the reentry workforce ecosystem: government reps, practitioners, business leaders, stakeholders, and etc. to engage in a variety of learning and networking opportunities. Jason Whyte, MBA Incredible journey leading and guiding the collaborative’s strategic direction. It was great seeing Shannon Morales from CaseMGR Solutions! The Institute for Educational Leadership are so grateful for the continued partnership over the years providing a data management system for our youth leadership and transition initiatives. Shoutout to Joycee Black MAIO, MBA & Ebony Watson at the Institute for Educational Leadership for coming to their very first NRWC Conference. Glad we were able to connect and share our ideas & network. And lastly, it was a pleasure volunteering with the NRWC team this year.
