Today, we lay to rest one of our beloved colleagues, Mrs. Lisa Young Alston. Lisa Young Alston was a cherished member of our work family—her smile could light up any room, and her presence brought warmth and positivity to everyone around her. We will deeply miss her joyful spirit and uplifting energy. While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that heaven has gained another bright and beautiful angel.

???? Meet Yosselin S. one of the fabulous new members of our Connect 404 Digital Navigator Program! Yosselin joined us for the Year Up United program and has plenty of experience in information technology. “I really love helping people and I like that I can help people while developing my own skills in reimaging, activation, and recovery. Yosselin has fully transcribed our program training deck in Espa?ol and has trained her very first class in Savannah at Rice Creek Middle School this month. Our Digital Navigators are instrumental in providing support during our Digital Literacy Training, assisting learners, and working with facilitators to answer questions and set up workshops. We’d like to thank Truist for their generosity in funding Inspiredu’s programs. We recently had learners who had already received devices in previous Inspiredu workshops come to the Volunteer & Training Center for a financial wellness workshop. Our new Bridge to Tech initiative will continue to offer these follow-up “Bridge 2” workshops as a way of continuing the digital skills training for participants from our “Bridge 1” workshops (Family Learning Workshops and Adult Digital Literacy workshops). Our learners got a deep dive into financial literacy! One participant, Gloire, remarked, “I learned so much to assist with my job, school, and budgeting.” ?? #DigitalLiteracy #CommunitySupport #EmpowerFamilies #TechForGood
