In an atmosphere of dignity and respect, Inspiration Corporation connects people and creates opportunity through access to social services, job training, housing, and food. Each year, Inspiration Corporation works with hundreds of resilient Chicagoans who face systemic disparities and inequities, such as homelessness, hunger, and social isolation. In order to help individuals and families overcome these barriers, we provide housing, meals, job training, scholarships, and homeless engagement services. Dine Well and Do Good at our Inspiration Kitchens social enterprise restaurant in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood.

September 29th is recognized by @UNEP as International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste. We work with partners like @wherechefsshop to recover food that would otherwise be wasted -- recently this resulted in 160 servings of delicious banana baked goods for our meals program participants. We also use recovered food at @inspirationkitchens so our foodservice training program students can hone their skills and fight food waste simultaneously.
