    Podcasting is the greatest canvas in media for the free and open exchange of ideas. Adjacent channels like radio, streaming audio, and creator-driven video share this same DNA. All are built on a foundation of trust between creators and their audiences. When that trust extends to brands through authentic personal recommendations, it becomes the most powerful form of advertising. Right now, these channels are undervalued, and brands are underserved. There are too many systemic challenges—particularly around measurement—that prevent many brands from entering these spaces or achieving maximum scale. To unlock the full power of spoken word media, specialized resources are required to turn these platforms into a marketer’s secret weapon. To achieve this, leading contributors who believe in this channel need to unite. I began my career in audio in 2003, and I’ve always believed this is, at its core, a relationship business. Success comes from maximizing trust across the entire supply chain—from audiences to creators, publishers, agencies, brands, and ultimately, customers. Over the past 21 years, I’ve had the privilege to build relationships with,?work alongside, and sometimes compete against people whose values I deeply respect. One shining example is the team at Veritone One. Since my earliest days, I’ve learned from leaders like Patrick Lennon, Zeus Peleuses, and Stephen Smyk. I’ve admired the forward-thinking vision of CEO Ryan Steelberg as he introduced solutions a decade ahead of the market. And I’m inspired by the new leadership under Jess Robine and Conor Doyle. For more than a decade, Oxford Road and Veritone One have been separate entities, connected by shared values, high standards, and enduring relationships. Today marks a new chapter. This morning, we announced that Oxford Road and Veritone One are joining forces in partnership with Insignia Capital Group. This union is founded on shared values, and together, we’re poised to activate those values in service of growing our industry—starting with our clients. While the industry faces challenges, the opportunities ahead are far greater. In time, I’ll share more about our vision and strategy. For now, it’s business as usual for both firms, as we remain focused on supporting our clients and preparing for an exciting 2025. As we begin to formalize our plans and harness the combined strengths of both groups, we’ll keep all stakeholders informed. This is a big day for our teams and for the industry.
