Here are some key takeaways from today’s speakers: ?? Heather Kluter offered a fresh perspective on driving innovation—one small step at a time—without overwhelming complexity. The emphasis on small steps helps demystify the process, making it feel achievable for all organizational levels. ?? Tom Johnson explored the challenges and opportunities of AI, also offered best practices for applying AI to consumer insights. AI receives a lot of hype for its efficiencies, but that doesn't always mean it's better. Treat AI like a bright intern - simple tasks with heavy oversight. ?? Benjamin Campbell shared how GoDaddy created a culture of impact by telling their story through insight evangelization. Leveraging internal communications to connect research to their campaigns enabled them to strengthen the research and stakeholder relationship. ?? Brian Fowler discussed how the Insights Career Network is available as a free membership to help provide access to exclusive insider resources curated specifically for insights job seekers. We walked out of Day 2 feeling truly inspired thanks to our incredible presenters! Here are some key takeaways from today’s speakers: ?? Steve Harper reminded us that relationships are everything. True connection requires authenticity, curiosity, and breaking past preconceived notions. Being a resource for others makes you invaluable. ?? Isra A. & Mariella Raffo introduced the potential of narrative intelligence—leveraging open-ended data to uncover unexpected insights beyond structured survey responses. We’re no longer limited by what’s asked—we can discover what truly matters. ?? Jake McKee reinforced the power of human connection in driving deeper insights and building community. Finding the right people, the right timing, and the right approach is key to engagement. ?? Julie Levine, MBA shared how the American Red Cross shifted its messaging on climate change, moving from political hesitancy to recognizing it as a humanitarian crisis. Testing showed that broad climate trends resonate more than singular extreme weather events. ?? Reggie Alston discussed how race, gender, political affiliation, and generational differences shape the way we interact and gather insights. Moderation must be mindful, inclusive, and free from bias.
