Yesterday, Insight Partners hosted its third annual ScaleUp:AI event, which brought together some of the top AI builders, executives, luminaries, and innovators leading the charge on the future of AI. With 20 sessions spanning topics ranging from AI agents to intelligence-first design to shaping tomorrow’s Army, AI’s profound impact on the software industry and beyond was clear. As Allie K. Miller said in her keynote, “The number one thing to focus on…is how fast this space is moving.” And, during his keynote,?Andrew Ng?pointed out, “Even though a lot of attention is on AI technology (especially foundation models), most of the opportunities will be in building AI applications.” It was incredible to bring together more than 3,000 attendees in person and virtually and see the excitement of everyone there. Last night, Insight Partners hosted its first Season of Giving Poker Tournament ??. Not only was the event an absolute blast, but those who made the final table also got the chance to donate to a charity of their choice in a big way. Over $58,000 will be donated to nine different organizations as a result of this event! Giving back is part of Insight’s DNA, and the tournament was a prime example of our commitment. 2024 marks Insight’s fifth employee donation match campaign during which the firm pledges a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $5,000 per employee. This year, we've expanded our campaign to be a Season of Giving, which brings even more fun charitable events and philanthropic opportunities for our employees and our portfolio companies over the months of November and December. Thank you to all who came out, and a special thank you to our Managing Directors who made the competition all the more spirited with “bounties” on their heads.
