Last week, IOYS had 20 passionate community members in attendance for our volunteer orientation! IOYS Volunteer Manager Alina (they/them) shared our mission, values, and the many opportunities to build access, equity, and power with LGBTQIA2+ young people in our community. We're so excited and grateful to have amazing volunteers in the IOYS space and out in the community! We host volunteer orientations monthly, so please send us a message if you'd like more information ??????????????????????

Our Colorado College Bonner Fellow, Ellison (she/her, 19), facilitated a program about "Destigmatizing Mental Health with Science" for our youth and young adults! We learned more about anxiety vs stress, the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, and tools we can use to manage these responses. We are so lucky to have our Bonner Fellows in the space with us! ??????????????????????
