Indiana University South Bend (IUSB) Chancellor Susan Elrod retired after five years in the role. During her tenure, Elrod led the development of a new strategic plan for the university and launched the IUSB Civil Rights Heritage Center and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The regional campus reported increased enrollment, greater community engagement, new partnerships and secured several regional and national awards under her leadership. Heartland BioWorks is launching?BioTrain, a new training institute to prepare talent for entry-level roles in biomanufacturing. Set to open in the 16 Tech Innovation District, BioTrain is a key step in strengthening Indiana’s life sciences workforce. Inside INdiana Business shares Lucas Oil Stadium switched from traditional oil to high oleic soybean oil in August at the start of the Indianapolis Colts season. For the three-night Eras Tour, Lucas Oil Stadium Sodexo Live General Manager Dave Marguth estimates that 2,000 pounds of oil, which has less saturated fat and more heart-healthy monounsaturated fat, were used.
