It's happening! InReach is going live on Monday! Our adolescent and adult groups are starting and we couldn't be more excited! Special thanks to our incredible team for all the time training, prepping, and getting ready to make a difference. It's been a journey to get to this point and we're thrilled to finally be able to turn on the lights and start the real work of healing. Finally, help is with InReach! So how does IOP work, anyway? This is the number one question we've received over the last week. Here's the magic, in a nutshell; IOP is a family unit. Members join a group and really get to know and grow with their fellow travelers on the journey of life. Our members come to the InReach facility three days a week for about three hours a day. During the day, we offer a blend of DBT-based skills and process groups. Yoga, mindfulness, and art-based therapies are incorporated into the curriculum and led by our team of warm, passionate, and highly skilled clinicians. This is layered with the support of a clinician, case manager, and the rest of our clinical team, led by Matis Miller, LCSW, A-CBT, DBT-LBC, our Clinical Director and Esti Goldschmiedt, LMSW, our Program Director. Why IOP? Why now? InReach Behavioral Health was co-founded by Matis Miller, LCSW, A-CBT, DBT-LBC, and David Becker, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP, to provide elite-level culturally sensitive care for individuals in need of higher-level care. Lakewood and surrounding townships are blessed with an incredible number of highly skilled, passionate therapists who are consistently doing amazing work. Sometimes, a weekly session isn't enough, and a higher level of care is needed. InReach Behavioral Health was founded with a vision to provide that care right here in the community so families can stay together while their loved ones get better.
