Gaussian splat Say what? Jensen Huang, NVIDIA CEO said this twice during his keynote. I was there and saw many people with puzzled looks desperately googling (or perplexityfying?) the term to figure out what he said. We're way ahead of them ?? Earlier this week at NVIDIA #GTC25, we shared some of the work we are doing at InOrbit.AI with our partners, including Globant, Dalus AI and of course NVIDIA, to use Gaussian splats as part of #PhysicalAI, including digital twins, simulations and AI agents. What is Gaussian splatting, you might ask? It's a 3D reconstruction and visualization technique that creates photorealistic scenes. It works by creating tiny blobs or "splats" with properties like color, opacity, and shape, allowing for real-time rendering of complex scenes. You can think of it like using 3D pixels. At GTC, we showcased how we created a 3D reconstruction of the InOrbit Robot Space https://lnkd.in/gimjiztN. Check out the video below -- our space is not as large as the NVIDIA HQ splat that Jensen showed, but it's a great showcase for the work we are doing.

NVIDIA #GTC25 is about to kick off in San Jose, CA with Jensen Huang's keynote. I saw a headline today describing GTC as "the Superbowl of AI" and it's not too far off, although the vibe here at the SAP Center at San Jose is more rock concert than sports event. InOrbit.AI has been working with the team at NVIDIA as well as our partners Globant and Dalus on the latest innovations in #DigitalTwins and #PhysicalAI. With hardware and software tools from NVIDIA like Blackwell and Omniverse, we are taking things to the next level. More details later today.
