Huge congratulations to Innovista's Chief Operating Officer Mia Willhite, MBA, MHA, JM, FACHE, on her American College of Healthcare Executives fellowship, awarded this past weekend in Houston.
Finally a Fellow. Thank you, American College of Healthcare Executives. To own the service found in leadership one must be willing to look inward while strategizing externally. May I continue to be a vessel of grace and a vision of IT CAN BE DONE!

Innovista Health values its many community partnerships, including the Dallas Independent School District (DISD), which we have worked with for several years. During the COVID pandemic, DISD helped many of our patients who had trouble accessing affordable day care, providing in-house programs for children who met their age guidelines. This allowed parents to get back to work without worrying about childcare. ? Last Friday, March 7 at the Ida B. Wells Montessori Academy, the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas celebrated its Centennial Reading Day, an event that fosters early literacy in north Texas. This collaboration was sponsored by DISD among others, and our very own Dr. Maudia L. Gentry, Ed.D, MA,BSW, CHW-Instructor, HS-BCP was thrilled to take part in the event and represent Innovista Health. ? #UnitedWayDallas #ReadingDay2025

Last Friday, Innovista Medical Center was proud to take part in the State of African American Health Summit in Houston, an event focused on the health of the Black community and building a better future for younger generations. Many area leaders, healthcare systems, and community- and faith-based organizations gathered, united in the mission of addressing health disparities and improving outcomes in Houston and beyond. Thanks to Wisdom Stamper and Andy Gamez for representing Innovista and connecting with all the organizations and people who stopped by our table. #valuebasedcare #healthdisparities #healthcare

As February comes to a close, so does National Cancer Prevention Month. The goal of this observance is to raise awareness about cancer prevention and encourage regular screenings. Primary care providers, especially those rooted in a value-based care model, play a critical role in ensuring patients get cancer screenings in a timely manner. They're the first line of defense against cancer, and at Innovista Medical Center we are proud to make screenings as accessible and easy as possible, teaming up with organizations like The Rose, nonprofit breast health organization and Cologuard? HCP. Read more about how Innovista Medical Center supports cancer prevention efforts: https://lnkd.in/eHXsCMps

Becker's Healthcare just released 15 trends and challenges that are defining healthcare today. One of the biggest takeaways: There are simply not enough healthcare providers to take care of us. This affects not only quality of care but access too. It's a big problem, and one that value-based care aims to fix. Offering a care model that emphasizes quality over volume can lead to greater satisfaction and sense of purpose for those in healthcare, making medicine a more attractive career. What are your thoughts on this list? #healthcaretrends #healthcare #valuebasedcare
