Over the summer, we hosted STEMxLaw, a middle school program in Chicago, IL taking a hands-on approach to teach students about the intersection of STEM and civics. Read more about it here: https://lnkd.in/eMJQEwmt

Today, we were able to talk to?Victoria Riskin, founder of?Bluedot Living,?Sarah Ream, and Graciela Montgomery about their work at Bluedot Living. We learned more about Bluedot's mission for addressing climate change issues and getting youths involved with taking further steps in leading a more sustainable life!

Yesterday, we were able to talk to Tina Henry Bou-Saba, Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner at Verity Venture Partners, about STEMxEntrepreneurship and the ever-changing business field. We gained lots of insight on how diversity in teams contributes to innovation and problem-solving and creating a more equitable space within the intersection of consumer technology and business field!

Tina Bou-Saba is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner at Verity Venture Partners, a consumer-focused investment firm. VVP partners with purpose-driven entrepreneurs who are building the next generation of great consumer companies, including emerging brands and the technologies that enable them. Tina serves on the Board of Directors of Arrae, August, and Dae. She has been actively investing in this space since 2016 through CXT Investments, her personal investment vehicle, with a focus on beauty, personal care, health and wellness, e-commerce, and enabling technology. Tina is a problem solver, creative and independent thinker, and trusted partner to entrepreneurs, with sharp instincts for commercial opportunities. After starting her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, she covered retail as an equity analyst at Sanford Bernstein and Berman Capital, and has broad knowledge of the industry from mass to specialty to e-commerce. As a member of the strategy team at Victoria’s Secret, Tina worked closely with VS leadership to commercialize new business opportunities, and led extensive quantitative and qualitative customer research. She attended Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard College, and Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar. Tina is passionate about supporting female and diverse entrepreneurs and serving her community. She is on the board of Safe & Sound and previously served on the board of the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Tina lives in San Francisco with her family.
