We had the pleasure of connecting with industry leaders like Christopher Stoner, Chris Riehl, Daniel Glazer, George M. Faber (who is everywhere!), and meet several new companies looking to explore the team building activities and conversation. We showcased team building through a multitude of sports like ping pong, bubbleball, glow in the dark versions of archery, kickball as well as through music, trivia games, coloring, and conversation. Julia Murphy and Heidi Hiller - Event Producer ventured to Bethesda yesterday to head INSIDE Marriott International headquarters inside of room 27 #iykyk. They were part of a very small group of Club Ichi peers, many of whom they'd only met previously from waist up, to participate in a strategic think tank with Marriott. People flew in from all around the country for this exclusive conversation. Julia and Heidi participated in some digging deep into a variety of topics facilitated by the extraordinaire pair Liz Lathan, CMP and Nicole Osibodu, XOXO. After a morning of dreaming about what the hotel of the future might entail, Marriott treated the group to an incredible and delicious lunch experience in their corporate cafeteria. After lunch they were treated to expert headshots, this fun jazz hands group shot followed by tours and a final conversation about challenges in our industry that we can solve together with our partners at Marriott. In two weeks, Heidi Hiller - Event Producer will be embarking on another trip with Club Ichi, this time via a plane and a longer commute to another continent to participate in the 'Barefoot Business on a Yacht' experience. Club Ichi is one heck of a club to be a member of! Stay tuned . . .
