With a history dating back to 1866, M&E brought with them not only decades of experience and deep industry knowledge but also an impressive legacy of quality and innovation. This acquisition enhanced IMETCO’s product offerings and services, while adding a third manufacturing facility in Burlington, NJ—allowing us to better serve our customers across the country. While we knew we were gaining great products, what truly stood out was the incredible people joining our team. Since 2015, Spirit Week has been a cornerstone of IMETCO’s culture—combining fun-filled team building with meaningful fundraising for impactful causes. Inspired by our parent company, The Garland Company, Spirit Week brings our team closer while giving us the opportunity to make a difference in our community. Over the years, we’ve proudly supported charities like DonorsChoose, Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation, and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, raising funds through creative and collaborative efforts. Our Spirit Week traditions are as unique as our team. We’ve hosted Pie-in-the-Face events where employees gleefully take aim at management ?? (for charity, of course!) and cooled off with a fan-favorite ?? dunk tank. Tournaments like cornhole, KanJam, ping-pong, and basketball challenges spark friendly competition, while our mini-golf course —designed and built by our talented staff—transform the office and manufacturing floor into a golfer’s playground. Departments find creative ways to raise funds, from selling homemade pasta and BBQ sauces to custom IMETCO stickers, and our generous vendors donate incredible prizes for game winners. Today we reflect back to 2016: When IMETCO relocated its West Coast manufacturing facility to McClellan Park, CA, the historic former McClellan Air Force Base. The move gave us space to grow while bringing our team closer to many West Coast clients.
