We are saddened to inform our community about a recent act of vandalism at our building, seemingly connected to a protest group advocating for divestment from Israel. This group has not reached out to Innosphere Ventures to discuss their concerns or to understand our work. To clarify, while Innosphere Ventures is involved in a venture capital fund that invested in Israel-based science and technology startups, this fund is now fully invested and closed. We are proud to support entrepreneurs and innovators in Colorado, the region and Isreal. Innosphere Ventures remains focused on accelerating the growth of science and technology companies, with a commitment to innovation in climate resilience and life sciences that benefits communities globally. Our work, including the efforts of the CO-WY Climate Resilience Engine, is dedicated to addressing critical challenges, and has no connection to the activities the protest group is concerned about. We have been a proud part of this community for over 25 years, and recent events have deeply affected us. The vandalism caused significant costly damage, and we are working closely with law enforcement to address the situation. We are also enhancing our security measures to ensure the safety and integrity of our facilities. We believe in open dialogue and collaboration, and we hope to move forward in a spirit of understanding and mutual respect. Thank you for your continued support.

MobilityZ Health [Techstars '23] ,?an Innosphere Ventures client company,?announces its official launch in July 2024, marking a pivotal moment in advancing remote orthopedic care. Addressing the critical challenge of limited access to timely and effective musculoskeletal (MSK) injury management, MobilityZ Health is poised to transform how orthopedic care is delivered—ultimately improving patient outcomes, increasing access, and driving down costs. Musculoskeletal injuries represent one of the most significant challenges in healthcare today, affecting millions worldwide and leading to chronic pain, long-term disability, and decreased productivity. Traditional care models often struggle with delayed diagnosis, inadequate follow-up, and limited access to specialized care, especially in remote or underserved areas. This gap in care not only exacerbates health disparities but also leads to higher healthcare costs and suboptimal patient outcomes. Life Sciences Incubator Director @ Innosphere Ventures | Championing Innovation and Growth in the Startup Ecosystems.

Prioritizing company culture in a remote-first environment is like trying to high-five your friend through the phone: The intention is there, but the execution is difficult. The lack of in-person interaction makes casual connections like happy hours or spontaneous chats rare. Plus, not everyone is comfortable or active on platforms like Slack, LinkedIn, or Facebook, so digital engagement can vary a lot. But we have a few strategies we use at Innosphere Ventures to keep our culture immersive and our relationships strong. We supplement our face time as much as we can by hosting online workshops, lunch and learns, and fireside chats to keep everyone engaged and moving forward. We also use Slack to share news and updates, tagging individuals to keep the conversation going. But our virtual Mastermind Sessions are where we see the most significant community-building. I’ve written another post about the details of what goes on in these meetings, but they’re essentially “CEO training” groups meant to build trust and camaraderie through practical skills training and relationship building. These sessions consistently get the highest ratings in our program, showing how important they are for building a supportive community. In fact, many members stay connected to chat online long after the official sessions are over. We’re still learning and adapting to what works best for the majority of our team on a given day, but these steps help us create a vibrant culture despite the distance. Technology is certainly invaluable in helping us bridge the physical gaps, but the basis of a strong work culture are strong personalities and connections - and we’ve got those in spades.

I had the pleasure of having my weekly meeting with Ben Walker at Innosphere Ventures in person today! It's been great to be back in Fort Collins for a quick getaway. My startup, iVrCv, has been participating in the Life Sciences Incubator held by Innosphere Ventures. It has been a fantastic experience, not enough great things can be said about Innosphere!
