Job Summary:
The Merchandiser will be responsible for managing client orders, coordinating with the factory to ensure seamless production processes, and maintaining high standards in service and reporting. This role requires strict adherence to timelines, effective communication, and proactive management to meet client and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will manage account relationships with minimal supervision and demonstrate leadership in driving process efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
? Ensure 95% on-time shipping by adhering to all TNA milestones.
? Conduct and share weekly analysis of client orders with the factory to avoid delays.
? Proactively manage TNA milestones and escalate any issues promptly.
? Submit all samples on time and communicate ETAs to clients.
? Provide accurate TNA updates, WIP reports, and monthly meeting reports to clients.
? Ensure 24-hour email response time and handle urgent emails promptly.
? Maintain 100% SOP adherence for consistent quality and operations.
? Log and resolve client complaints within 48 hours in collaboration with the factory.
? Conduct weekly floor visits and submit detailed reports for actionable insights.
? Manage client accounts independently with minimal supervision.
? Train a successor in merchandising to ensure team continuity.
Required Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Textile engineering or marketing or related fields.
? 5+ years of experience in merchandising, within the knitwear apparel industry.
? Proven leadership and team management experience.
? Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
? Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
? Familiarity with ERP or merchandising software.
? Analytical mindset with proficiency in creating and interpreting reports.
? Demonstrated ability to meet KPIs consistently.
