Congratulations to Dr. Persky and the entire ICEF Vista Academy team for their remarkable achievement in earning their place among the US News & World Report Best Middle Schools of 2025. The school placed among the top 40% of Middle schools in the state of California and ranked at # 72 of nearly 700 charter schools serving middle school students. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare their students for high school. Way to go, Vista!

At ICEF View Park Preparatory High School, students convened this morning to learn about candidates and propositions on today's #ElectionDay ballot. After students delivered impassioned arguments on both sides of the issues, voting took place during the school lunch period. The student body has spoken, and they have elected Kalama Harris as President (54%), and votes Yes in favor of school funding (Prop 2), the definition of marriage to include same sex marriage (Prop 3), and in opposition of involuntary servitude for incarcerated prisoners (Prop 6).
