We celebrated the second anniversary of the CIELO (Cultivating Inland Empire Latino Opportunity) Fund. The impact of the CIELO Fund these past two years has been truly transformative. Under the visionary leadership of Jesse M. and the unwavering commitment of the board of directors and IECF staff, significant strides in supporting our Latino community have been made. Hundreds of people gathered at the Palm Springs Convention Center as Jesse announced that the CIELO Fund has reached an impressive $2 million in donations in its second year. These funds are vital for supporting our Latino-led organizations and empowering Latino students in the Inland Empire. This success would not have been possible without the incredible support from local, regional, and state leaders, private sector partners, nonprofit organizations, and community members. Nearly 400 community leaders came together to support the CIELO Fund’s grantees and scholars at our anniversary brunch in the Coachella Valley. We are deeply grateful to celebrate this milestone—surpassing $2 million in total fundraising—thanks to the generosity and dedication of everyone who has supported this vision along the way.
