Interviewee: Yes sir, planning, organising, staffing, controlling, directing, etc. Well the interviewee's response is partially correct but somewhat generalized. The functions they mentioned-planning, organizing, staffing, controlling, and directing-are broad management functions that can apply to various departments, including HR. HR has more specific functions that align closely with managing people within the organization like recruitment and selection, employees relationship, T&D, PM, Comp & ben, Compliance, employees engagement, etc
