If anybody had told me at the beginning of 2023 that I'll be a Meta Certified Community Manager curious and passionate about supporting and caring about people who decide to join a community to achieve a specific goal, I'd have looked at the person like a joker because prior to this time last year, i had no idea what or who a community manager does and what managing a community was all about. I'm just so glad and grateful for the opportunity to have taken and aced the Meta Community Manager professional exam last year for FREE courtesy of Ingressive For Good and Haneefah Abdurrahman Lekki for her vision to empower individuals interested in learning and starting their careers as community managers. I won't fail to appreciate Meta for the free resources provided to learn what exactly community management is all about and the primary roles community managers should play in building a conducive and productive and engaging community. To think that i almost didn't want to apply for the scholarship has made me realize that in this life, we should never ever underestimate any opportunity. Accepting and Embracing my job as a community manager has been career defining as well as life-changing for me and I'm so excited and curious to see what i can do and the impact I can make in the lives of my community buddies as a community manager- sometimes this title scares me even though i enjoy what i do??
