Today’s Day In The Life video features our Fleet/Traffic Dispatchers. While Crew Dispatchers coordinate with everyone on a vessel, Fleet Dispatchers are focused on communicating with Captains and Pilots to design tow diagrams in the safest, most efficient way. “We’re looking at barges from the moment they get picked up until they hit our fleet, trying to find the most efficient ways, and the safest ways to put them together so they can get to their destination.” – Fleet Traffic Management Team Lead, Cody Yates

This past Saturday, Ingram competed in the Cumberland River Compact’s 16th annual Dragon Boat Festival. 17 Ingram associates and four family members/friends made up the “Blazing Paddles” team. Competing against 28 other recreational teams from area organizations, “Blazing Paddles” had an average time of 70 seconds on the 200 meter course, finishing 9th overall. Thank you to everyone who participated!
