Yesterday, We Work The Waterways had another successful interaction with 175 High School students showcasing the career opportunities working on the river and many of the shoreside trades that support the industry. Our Paducah team sure knows how to throw a great party! They recently hosted a "So Long Summer" cookout, featuring grilled favorites and fun prizes. And who knew the Ingram logo could look so delicious?! Hats off to Vessel Repair Manager Ryan Shelley for winning the dessert contest.

As we bid farewell to summer, we also say goodbye to National Fishing Month. Throughout August, our associates sent in some of their best catches, and we're excited to share them as the seasons start to turn.

We're back with another Towboat Tuesday! Today, we're featuring the M/V Debbie L. Owen, named after our current AVP of Logistics and Customer Service, who has been with Ingram for more than 34 years. The M/V Debbie L. Owen was the third of our 10 new-build vessels to be Christened in the summer of 2022. This is a 78 x 32 ft. twin screw towboat with 2000 HP, built in 2022 by Main Iron Works and owned/operated by Ingram.

Every day, the men and women of the tugboat, towboat and barge industry are providing essential services and delivering the goods our country depends on. This #LaborDay, we want to say thank you for their hard work and dedication! #mariners #waterways #maritime
