On Wednesday, October 2nd we kicked off the first of Inglis’ Inclusive Speaker Series with Bill Krebs, a self-advocate who works for Keystone Human Services. Bill shared his personal story of resilience and tenacity navigating disability bias throughout his life; and how he continues to challenge the societal norms around what people with intellectual disabilities can accomplish and contribute in professional settings. Thank you Bill for being a truly thoughtful (and thought-provoking) advocate, both in the workplace and out in the community!

The Inglis House PEERs (Pennsylvania Empowered & Expert Residents) are all about advocacy! They teamed up with the Committee of Seventy, a nonpartisan advocate for better government, to bring an educational session for fellow residents. Thanks to the Committee of Seventy's Interactive Voter Guide, it's easy to get up to speed on the issues and make informed choices. This initiative is a testament to the passion and dedication of Inglis House PEERs and their commitment to community and civic engagement!

This FREE family-friendly event is a perfect opportunity to learn more about mental health disability programs in the Philadelphia community. All attendees will enjoy multiple mind-FULL wellness activities— including gentle yoga, mini bingo sessions, painting, and health screenings!
